Boat Harbour Milky Way
This image is very dear to me because it encapsulates my favourite star gazing spot on the island, where I have spent countless hours - the jetty. To catch the Milky Way in this position I had to wake up at 2.30 AM. I'm glad I did though as it was such a surreal experience watching it slowly drop below the horizon line. Observing the stars and the planets go by certainly gives us a perspective on how insignificant we and our little problems truly are on the scale of the Universe. Makes me want to enjoy life just as it is more. I hope this image communicates just that.
