"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” ― Ansel Adams

Photography is literally “drawing with light” and it is usually the light that draws me to a particular scene or image.

I have had a camera since I was 18, but I only seriously got into digital photography in 2013, after I retired. Then it took over my life. I enjoy exploring a variety of photographic genres, from portraits to landscapes, nightscapes, macro and birds.

I shoot with Canon, previously a 6D, then a 5Dmk4, currently R6.
