Joseph S. Giacalone is a self-taught photographer that is a native of and based in San Diego, California, USA. Joseph mostly photographs the outdoor world, and he takes equal enjoyment in being in the solitude of nature, or being in the vibrant energy of a city setting. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity, and too avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint, but realizing the need to be open to improving his craft. He does not subscribe to a specific style, but instead works from the freedom that is inherent to all human beings...namely, intuition and creativity.
